A reinterpretation of the traditional Greek kiosk was created for Louis Vuitton’s Deep Time High Jewelry presentation on the port of Hydra. Reimagined by Kostis Velonis, the humble kiosk becomes an architectural artifact — distilled into archetypal geometric patterns and a rhythmic sequence of base, core, and crowning, where what is built meets the sky.

Stripped of ornament and transformed through abstraction, the kiosk shifts from everyday urban typology to sculptural presence. Its familiar silhouette is elevated into a symbolic vessel, echoing both the island’s horizon lines and the timeless geometries of Greek architecture.

Set against the port, the installation becomes a dialogue between tradition and contemporary craft, between the island’s raw landscape and the precision of high jewelry.

This quiet, luminous intervention anchors the collection within the cultural memory of Greece.
